CAFE

CAFE is an acronym for Comprehension, Accuracy, Fluency and Expanded Vocabulary. It was designed by the educators that brought us the Daily 5 and is a way to identify and track specific skills individual students can work on when they are reading. Each skill, representing the acronym of the program, has a number of strategies that empower students to take responsibility for their own learning. Your students will be bringing home these strategies when reading.
