Raz-Kids.com

Raz-Kids is an online reading resource that we are trying out for the school.  We are using it some in the classroom but you are welcome to log your child on at home and use it at home. There are many ways this tool can be used.  Students can have books read to them, they can read the books themselves, they can take comprehension quizes (as many times as they want to improve their score), and they can record the reading of a book with headphones that have a microphone.  Everything that you do on Raz-Kids can earn you points, points allow you to progress from one level to the next AND you can spend points in a personalized Rocket Room.  I will be able to see all the activity of the kids, what they are and aren’t working on, where they can use additional support and I will be able to send them messages.
